Sony Group (hereinafter referred to as Sony) will exhibit at the CSUN Assistive Technology Conference 2024, the world’s largest international conference on accessibility, held in Anaheim, USA from March 18th to 22nd.
With the Purpose of “inspiring and fulfilling the world with the power of creativity and technology,” Sony aims to promote accessibility across the entire group and contribute to an inclusive society through its business activities under the theme “Creating a future where everyone can share inspiration through the power of innovation.” In pursuit of this goal, Sony plans to incorporate inclusive design, developed in collaboration with stakeholders and reflecting their voices, into the product commercialization process by 2025.
At this exhibition, Sony will introduce various efforts related to accessibility and inclusive design, including products such as the ‘Access™ Controller’ for PlayStation®5 (PS5®), which can be customized to meet players’ needs, and the ‘Float Run’ off-ear headphones featuring a design with speakers that sit in front of the ears, allowing users to enjoy entertainment such as music while naturally hearing ambient sounds.
