The results of the public comments on the partial amendment of the Agricultural Land Law Enforcement Regulations regarding agricultural solar power generation, conducted from December 2023 to January 2nd of the following year, and the guidelines on the treatment of agricultural land conversion permits for agricultural solar power generation, have been announced. Additionally, the Agricultural Land Law Enforcement Regulations were promulgated on March 4th, 2024. Here’s a summary of the contents.

The ministerial ordinance amending a portion of the Agricultural Land Law Enforcement Regulations was promulgated on the same date as the announcement of the public comments results, which was March 4th. Consequently, it has been confirmed that the enforcement will take effect on April 1st.
Although there were 28 opinions received through public comments, a review of the main opinions reveals that several seem to have been submitted by legal experts, while others were notable for their insights into matters such as opinion letters from knowledgeable individuals and cultivation rationale documents.
