RoboFure means that the work processes and facility environment on-site are “robot-friendly” environments that make it easy to introduce robots. As the labor shortage worsens due to the declining birthrate and aging population, creating a robot-friendly environment is essential to promoting the introduction of robots in areas where they have not been introduced to date. If it is tailored to each individual site, development costs will increase and horizontal deployment will not be widespread. By creating a system that is as general-purpose as possible while taking into account each site, it is possible to lower implementation costs and expand the market scale with minimal customization.
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has been working with users and robot system integrators (SIers) to develop and standardize robot introduction environments in the four fields of “facility management,” “food,” “retail,” and “logistics warehouse.” Among these, in the field of food, we are aiming to introduce robots into the delicatessen manufacturing process with the cooperation of the Japan Delicious Dishes Association.
