ATR (International Telecommunication Technology Research Institute) has created a “robot skate park” environment where data collection such as human brain waves, electromyography, and motion capture, and learning experiments using humanoid robots can be carried out in parallel/cooperation. On March 12, 2024, at the robot skate park, a demonstration of skateboarding by a humanoid robot equipped with “cyborg AI” currently under development by ATR was released to the media.
